Don’t be frightened by the “green” smoothie – it’s only green cause of the added kale/spinach! It tastes DELICIOUS and is a perfect smoothie to start your day, or as a post workout protein boost.
- 1/2 banana or avocado
- 3 dates, pitted (or some maple syrup/honey)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop of protein powder (I used Salted Caramel from Prana On)
- 1 handful of leafy greens like kale or spinach
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 cup of almond milk
- Optional: aptogens like maca and ashwaganda powder
- Step 1 Simply add all these ingredients to your blender and blitz till smooth, pour & drink!
