Sriracha Jackfruit & Coleslaw Sliders (AKA “Pulled Pork”!)

YUMMM, since we’ve discovered the amazing jackfruit we have tried so many different recipes already. We love Upton’s Naturals Jackfruit, but you can also buy fresh or canned jackfruit at the Asian store and season it yourself.

What is jackfruit, you ask? This amazing fruit is a species of tree in the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit family native to South India. Jackfruit is a nutritional bonanza: it is rich in vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. It is a viable source of minerals, such as iron, magnesium, potassium and manganese as well.

  • 1 packet of Upton’s Natural Sriracha Jackfruit
  • 6 brioche slider buns
  • Coleslaw
  • Red onion
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Sauce: 3 tbsp vegan mayo, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, juice of 1 lemon and 1 tsp coconut aminos.


Heat the jackfruit in a skillet for about 8-10 minutes.

Slice the buns in half and grill them in the oven or a toaster.

Slice the onion and tomato thinly.

Prepare the sauce.

Now mix and add to the bun, that’s it! Quick, easy & delicious.
